No account, no personal data collected by us

ToolLoom requires no registration. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number directly. There is no user database on our end.

We use Google Analytics and Google AdSense

These third-party services collect anonymous usage data and may serve personalised ads using cookies. Full details are in the sections below.

Advertising โ€” Google AdSense
Advertising Disclosure: ToolLoom displays advertisements through Google AdSense. This is how we fund the platform and keep all tools free for every user.

ToolLoom participates in Google AdSense, operated by Google LLC. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites across the internet โ€” this is called personalised or interest-based advertising.

ToolLoom does not control which specific ads Google serves or the data Google collects for this purpose. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.

โš™๏ธYou can opt out of personalised advertising at any time by visiting adssettings.google.com. You will still see ads โ€” they just won't be personalised to your interests.
Google Analytics

ToolLoom uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This service collects anonymous, aggregated data โ€” pages visited, time on page, device type, browser, and approximate location (country/city level, not precise). No personally identifiable information is collected through Analytics.

This data is used solely to improve the website โ€” understanding which tools are most used, which guides help users, and how to improve content and performance.

๐Ÿ“ŠOpt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

2. How Our Tools Work โ€” Browser-Only Processing

Every calculator and generator on ToolLoom runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you use our EMI calculator, income tax calculator, password generator, BMI calculator, or any other tool, your inputs are processed locally on your device and the result is displayed directly in your browser.

No data is transmitted to our servers during tool use. There is no backend receiving your loan amount, salary, health information, or password preferences. The computation happens entirely on your device โ€” this is by design, not just a policy choice.

What this means practically: Your financial data, health data, and passwords are never at risk of being intercepted from our end. Clearing your browser cache removes all local tool state. There is nothing stored on our servers to delete or access.

3. Advertising โ€” Google AdSense

ToolLoom uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense is operated by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Advertising revenue is how we fund the platform and keep all tools permanently free.

How AdSense Works

Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect data about your browsing behaviour โ€” on ToolLoom and on other websites that use Google advertising services. This data is used by Google and its partners to serve advertisements that are relevant to your interests. This is called interest-based or personalised advertising.

What Google Collects

Through AdSense, Google may collect data including: pages you visit, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and your interactions with advertisements. Google combines this data with information from your other Google activity and from websites across the Google Display Network.

ToolLoom's Role

ToolLoom does not receive personally identifiable information from Google through AdSense. We receive only aggregate, anonymous performance data (impressions, clicks, estimated revenue). We do not control which specific ads are shown to you โ€” that is determined entirely by Google's systems based on your browsing history and Google's ad auction.

Opting Out

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. If you opt out, you will continue to see advertisements on ToolLoom โ€” they simply will not be personalised based on your browsing history.

4. Google Analytics

ToolLoom uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics is operated by Google LLC and collects anonymous usage data including: pages visited and time spent on each page, browser type and operating system, device type (mobile, desktop, tablet), approximate geographic location (country and city level โ€” not your precise location), and how you arrived at ToolLoom (search engine, direct, referral link).

This data is aggregated and anonymous. It cannot be used to identify you personally. We use it to improve the website โ€” understanding which tools are most useful, which content helps users, and where to focus development effort.

Google Analytics data is stored on Google's servers in accordance with Google's own data retention policies. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Cookies

ToolLoom itself does not set first-party cookies. However, Google Analytics and Google AdSense โ€” third-party services we use โ€” set cookies in your browser when you visit the site.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies stored on your device. Disabling cookies may affect the functioning of Google's ad personalisation but will not affect your ability to use ToolLoom's calculators and tools.

6. Children's Privacy

ToolLoom's tools and guides are designed for general use and are suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect personal data directly from any users โ€” regardless of age โ€” children can safely use our calculators and read our guides.

Parents should be aware that Google AdSense displays advertisements on our site. Google has its own policies regarding advertising to minors. If you have concerns about ad personalisation for younger users, you can adjust settings at adssettings.google.com.

8. Your Rights

Because ToolLoom does not collect or store personal data directly, there is no user data held by us to access, modify, export, or delete on your behalf.

For data collected by Google through Analytics and AdSense, you can exercise your rights directly with Google using the following links:

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), data processing by Google is based on legitimate interests in providing relevant advertising and improving site performance. Where required by applicable law, consent may be requested for the use of cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the tools we use, or for legal and regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of ToolLoom after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Contact Us
